Phase Welder?

Our Laser Welder punked out yesterday. Repair Technician tried several different fixes, but nothing worked. Now, he's advocating a $4500 power supply. Before I throw down for that, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about phase welders, i.e. Primotec? Pros and cons and pricing? Thanks -

I know of a Laser for sale in excellent condition if your interested. Call, 563-920-2273

This can be bought for about the same as a Phaser. And as Hydent mentioned below. "If your
use to a laser, a Phaser may not be what you want".

I bought a 12000 dollar Phaser on ebay for 1800 like new. I've used it a few times and it makes great welds... I'd prefer a laser welder they are easier to use but as a one man show justifying the cost would be extremely difficult. I'm afraid if you're use to a laser welder you may not be impressed, you better try one out before buying one.
