Meet Your New Board of Directors​

Every year, NADL does a call for candidates for anyone interested in serving on the NADL Board of Directors. The members of the board are stewards of the organization and are responsible for its fiscal health as well as reflecting the views and interests of all constituents. The boards guide the organization through proven leadership, a shared vision and support for the missions of the association. Candidates for the NADL Board of Directors must be from a member laboratory in good standing and be a designated representative of a Certified Dental Laboratory, DAMAS laboratory or ISO certified laboratory.

Effective on January 1, 2016, NADL welcomed our new board members:

Dena Lanier - The Lab 2000, Inc., CDL
2016 NADL President

Dena Lanier is President and Owner of The Lab 2000, Inc., a Certified Dental Laboratory (CDL) serving a national market out of Columbus, GA. She started her career in the dental field in 1980 with dentures and partials before opening her own crown and bridge laboratory. She has grown The Lab 2000, Inc., into one of the largest female-owned laboratories in the country. She has served on the NADL Business Management Committee and on the board for the Georgia Dental Laboratory Association. She is now a member of the NADL Public Awareness Committee and serves as the Component Representative on the NADL Board of Directors.







Mike Wandling, CDT - Keller Dental Laboratories, CDL

Michael Wandling, CDT joined Keller Dental Laboratory fourteen years ago. He worked his way up the ladder handling a variety of positions in the fixed department including prep, waxing, casting, metal finishing, quality control, and training and development. Today he serves as the production manager of the Fixed Department overseeing a department of over 60 technicians. Michael holds an MBA from Lindenwood University and a CDT certification in Crown & Bridge & Ceramics. He is currently working on receiving his third CDT certification in Implants. Over the past four years, Michael has assisted the National Board of Certification by acting as a subject matter expert for the job task analysis, item writing, and item writing review for certification exams.




Robert Gitman - Thayer Dental Lab, Inc., CDL

Robert Gitman is the Company Administrator of Thayer Dental Laboratory, CDL. Thayer Dental is a full service, Certified Dental Laboratory, specializing in cosmetic and implant restorations. He has been active in the dental business for nearly 40 years.

Bob is a graduate of LaSalle University with a degree in Public Administration. Over the years he has continued to expand his scope of academic knowledge by completing graduate level courses in Total Quality Management from Penn State University; Employee Benefits Accounting from the Internal Revenue Service; Leadership Innovation from Drexel University; and Negotiation Practices from Harvard University Law School.

Within the dental field, Bob has consulted with dentists, manufacturers, distributors, publications and laboratories throughout North America and in Western Europe. His record of business consultation, marketing, business valuation services, and strategic planning in the dental field has been officially cited by the publishers of "Who's Who" and accredited by the Society of Young American Professionals.

Bob has served the industry as Executive Director of the Dental Laboratory Conference, and through such affiliation, Bob held a seat on the American Dental Association's Council on Dental Practice. He has also served as Advisory Committee Member for the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, and an Ex-Officio Trustee Advisor to Oral Health 2000, America’s Fund for Dental Health.
