Light cure on bi-laminates splints

Hi all, I do quite a few Bi lam splints using Erkoloc pro with cold cure overlay when needed. I read some where about a light cured material that can now be placed because there is now an agent that is applied to make it bond properly to the hard layer.

Is anyone here doing this technique and does it work well compared to CC? Also do you need a wizz bang LC unit?
