there shouldnt be any lateral forces down there! the only thing i can think of is the wrong screw and when it bottomed out and was torqued more it created some horizontal stresses that...

peroxides! thats your answer. someone somewhere along the line is using something with peroxides in it. peroxide reacts with metals and will tarnish them. i bet your patient is using a denture cleaner with peroxides in it.
no one with implants, amalgams, or any metal in their mouth...
carbides. you pick your manufacturer, but Brasseler and Komet have great burs.
you planning on using a HP or FG?
i have some favorites like H129UM, H138UM, and H139UM but there are so many to choose from for so many applications that it is difficult to narrow it down some without more info from you
ah ok, that makes sense. i know of some other labs that were also very unhappy with their older objet printers too. the j3 and j5 printers seem to have a fairly positive following. guess im playing devils advocate trying to find issues where there may not be many!
looks good and should run it well, decent if you want to play some ski-free too lol. i second what labguy said. keeping the pc clean will help!
