My problem was insufficient acrylic, It lead to a ton of bubbles and headaches, now I make sure to put enough acrylic in there. The monomer will have a boiling temp, do not exceed that boiling temp and you should be fine for the monomer boiling. If you pack with warm flasks the temperature shock shouldn't be an issue. I take the flasks out rinse the wax, apply alcote, let alcote dry, drill holes, blow out, apply monomer to backs of teeth, mix acrylic, pack all in about 10-15min. The flasks stay pretty warm the whole time. Once the acrylic is set you can increase to boiling to get the excess monomer out. I use Lucitone 199 (I know) its 1.5hrs then bring it to boiling for 30min. Does anyone know where to find trial pack sheets not be the thousand? Like only 50-200 at a time. I have a small lab and don't do that many cases. Probably only 100 a year if that.
