Spend the money on the things you need not on half the stuff you'll never use.

The press basic kit is a nice way to get things started. it gives you all the accessories needed to begin your work and adding all of it up is saving you a good chunk of money versus if you bought these things individully. I am noticing many of the shades your using regular are in the basic kit. you also get a couple nice storage cabinets to keep organized. now for your porcelain items, you can just buy those as single refills and then add things as you go. years ago, when you would buy a full empress (before e.max!) system you would get alot of items that you wouldn't use on a regular basis. now with e.max, it is sold as a modular system and you can buy basic kits and build around those to maximize what is being used in the lab and what is not. my "2 cents".

I agree.

The only items you may not want or need are the HT ingots. I would beef up your order now with a few porcelain shades, Essences, stains, to get a large discount now ! You aren't going to get a discount on you next order! Ask your rep if he will trade the HT's for the new Press Impulse Ingots when they come in. I'm sure the rep will do that now for the large sell and new emax lab.
I would also consider an Ivoclar press oven, or as a second choice a Whip Mix, Zubler. The Ivoclar ovens are on sell now.

I do agree with SOI and Charles. However Chales does present some viable options. The HT ingots may not see any use and may just be wasted money, which is what I was leading to.
