FCZ staining from the inside

In a last sunday morning lecture here in Spain, the lecturer, an american Dr. from WA University said there is somebody in the US layering and/or staining monolitic zirconium from the inside.

I did not catch it well (my english hearing comprehension is worst than my writing, so figure)
Does anybody know about this technique?

I always stain internally and externally. :/

I always stain inside the crowns it gives some more effect cervical and also it looks nicer.

Maybe he meant they were stained from the heart and soul?
