I replaced mine this morning. Took about 30 minutes, but I was being overly cautious and triple reading every step of the directions to be sure I didn't miss anything. Without the Pit.exe tool I just had to close the cover to open the collet and then open the cover and check if the tool fit...
Computer is integrated in the scanner. Comes with all accessories. The software we used a bit for some model building and we did a couple of cases with the scanner by scanning the impression and scanning the model. Both ways were very accurate. This is basically a brand new unit, (2018 version)...
Make me an offer :) It's definitely not anything compared to the 2018 version, but somebody might find a use for it for a secondary system to design crown and bridge cases. No computer or scanner included, just the dongle, and I can point you to the install files if you need them. I think B&D...
I like the Katana as well, but being able to customize the shade of the Cubex with shading liquids makes it a more versatile product. So if I have a 6 thru 11 case in A2, I'll definitely go for the Katana since it's basically dummy proof. But if I have a 6 and 7 in 5M3, I will go for the Cubex...
Maybe some of you here can help me since this is related. I'm trying to get the implant module for my exocad software which I purchased as an open system with the Medit Identica (Origin intelligence) scanner from B&D. They quit supporting the scanners they sold so I've been sent on a wild goose...

The gingival modeling was what I was concerned about (and the part where my experience would be lacking. So that's very helpful to know! Is my version new enough? And do you know the price on the abutment module?
Right now I just have the basic crown and bridge exocad software. I'm curious what modules I would need to have to make the iZir/prettau bridges? Would I need the implant AND denture module, or just the implant module. And is there a course for making these with exocad anywhere?
Thanks for that info! I did the 1550 that is recommended and it looked TERRIBLE!! Having even a ballpark number to test was very helpful. I did 1515 in my Sintra and it came out looking great. Honestly I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and Emax without handling it. The chroma...
Itemizing invoices won't work since sevices related to the sale of the device are considered part of the sale price.
Sale price:
The tax imposed under section 4191 is based on the price for which a taxable medical device is sold. Under section 48.4216(a)-1(a),the price for which a taxable...
That's the thing about labs like Glidewell. They don't understand why a dentist would pay $15 more for a crown made by an actual CDT rather than a CPU. I had more response than I could handle when I handed out 12 folders to 12 local dentists with the slogan "Tired of assembly line and factory...
