Will you cast my EX3 alloy for me?
I have this case...

The patient had existing Straumann abutments and a PFM bridge.
Were redoing the bridge...
We don't do PFM's so we don't have any alloy.
We don't wanna buy an ounce of White Gold for just this case.
So, if you already utilize Noritake EX3 and use white gold, could I send you some wax framework to cast for me? And well use our EX3 we have laying around in the lab to finish up the case.
The draw looks tight, but she already had a bridge seated, either way, Im sure if I asked the doctor for a little mesial or distal relief, it wouldn't be a problem.
This case isn't due till the end of October, so I wouldn't rush you.

I can't export stl's in my version of inlab,

I dunno, I don't imagine they have techs on hand. My waxup will surely need to be sealed on the margins after transport, and cut and sprued. But these abutments are replicas and do not remove. So only your average tech could do a good job. Maybe I could invest and overnight the ring to one of you to throw into a cold oven? Aw hell, I'll probably just get an ounce of alloy. I don't suppose they sell half ounces?

Nice, I just called them I can order 5,10,15 dwt if I want.
So I will wax the case and weigh it and see how much I need.

ARGEN is the way to go.may be if you talk to them you send your models and they will scan it and do it for you.

You'd have to ask him, but I'm sure he'd convert it to Something! They don't last long enough in most labs to ask.

Thanks, its ok. If I can get half an ounce from argen, I will be fine. Just didn't want to have to obtain a whole ounce just to build 3 anatomical copings.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.. Maybe I will see if I can get a good scan on the inlab.
