Would you considered it's a good design?

I mean, seems like theres not a lot of flexibility here so it will do.

Only issue I see is the emergence profile might be a bit too wide/big, since the implant is quite small and seems quite deep. Maybe you could change it to a more tapered or concave shape?
Other than that, the design looks fine.

Yes, that's what we are planning to do. The paitent almost lost the tissue in the vestibule, we are considering ridge lap and pink porcelain.
But the thing I'm really concerned is food traping and esthetic, I couldn't think of a better design to meet the requirement from Dr.

Yes and do not expect correcting tissue issues with crowns. Periodentist and grafts are for that.

Couldn't agree more, that's for the the specialist do the professional thing.
But lots of patients don't think that way, they did expect one prosthesis to cover all problems. I understand some of them can't afford the cost of restoration, some of them don't have insurance to cover, but most of them can't resist saving time and money for the moment than looking into the big picture.
Even some dentists willing to go ahead with terrible impressions/scan kowningly a great chance of ill-fitness and rework, I can imagine how tough taking an impression can be and some dentists don't get the chance to do over due to gag reflex or elderly pt etc etc, but please take the second one if has to, if possible. I hate to see when tech bragging about how they mange to create a nice anatomy crown with inaccurate impressions/scan. I mean, what did they have to bragging for? magnificent skill? I can only see a compromise solution and irresponsible outcome.
I've been taking the best restoration as priority for a while, right now I'd like to give them what they want as priority then do my best based on their thoughts.
Nice to see someone share an common sense, thank you FASTFNGR!

I think most of us can echo agreement that we wish Doctors would take an extra 5 minutes sometimes to ensure everything on there end is done accurately. I always highly value the Doctors who take the time to do everything on their end correctly and communicate to ensure that the best choice is being made in terms of restoration.

This looks like a tricky case, hard to tell too much from the photo angle but nothing stand out immediately.
