Hello!

What curing unit are you using/suggesting? Is formalbs´s curing unit as good as nextdent´s? As I understand the dental resigns formlabs is using are actually made by nextdent.

Depends on what you need it for but for splints and similar you need gas to prevent forming a reaction layer on surface...I think post process is maybe even more important than printing itself, I think there's lack of knowledge regarding this topic of 3D printing...a lot of user mistakes, lack of information from manufacturers etc etc

You are actually a second person who recommends this curing unit. I am making splints and occasionally surgical guides. Mostly waxups and models. But I want to have a unit that is capable of everything... not to figure at some point that I need a better one. I was at one point going to buy nextent printer with its curing unit but buried that idea. I already have form2 and just ordered anycubic photon S. A bit later I will buy asiga.

I have FL2 and just ordered Asiga, should arrive next week...I think this light curing unit is all rounder....maybe minus is small chamber...but that's my 5c, I'm sure someone else will give and advice also...

I got a Formlabs curing unit which does the job but I think is overpriced for what it does / build quality. It takes lots of trial and error to find the sweet spot for each resin to post cure properly without warping. Each curing unit has its own specs, settings for one won't correlate to another for a given resin.

Haha, that's awesome.

I don't know how the results are but I appreciate the ingenuity.

Love it! I use that exact same turntable under my curing lamp for l/c baseplates.

Edit: He calls himself DDS, Disruptive Dental Specialist. Definatly worth subscribing.

How large gas tank are you suggesting for the otoflash? How much does the curing unit use per minute?
