I think experienced good wire benders are extinct. I placed adds in Craig's list and local publications
For two years and only 2 calls. One experienced but in her sixties the other thought he was experienced. Any suggestions from fellow ortho lab owners?

Why didn't you hire the lady that was in her sixties? I know of lab owners that work into their 80's or more.

I showed her how I want my Adams clasps bent and she told me I didn't do it properly. I've been fabricating appliances for 25 years as an owner. Granted she was experienced but right off the bat she was telling me I'm
Doing it wrong. That was the primary reason I was Leary. Plus I want a tech who's going to grow with us. If I needed a prep person I would have hired her no problem.

I think most experienced people are going to want to try and do things the old way because it's comfortable for them, however if you write the checks
you have to make it known you want things done a certain way and stick to it. In todays culture very few people stick around at one job for more than a couple of years at a time. When the lady you are talking about was in the workforce, people put in many years at the same job. If she could put in 5 to ten years with you that would have been great in todays world.

I would love to find someone enthusiastic about our field in there early twenties with skill and teach them everything so that person can be in a position to buy the lab when I'm ready to hang it up. Dream world I guess.

Thats Not A Complete Dream.....The Problem Is Experience....What U R Looking For Is Personality....There R Naturally Talented People, U Just Need To Know How To Find One And The Rote Personality Can B Taught....Otherwise Advertise In Lmt Magazine For Anyone Moving To The Area. U Can Also Call Some Of.the Lab Schools And Norfolk Naval Base. U R Still Going To Have To Teach...Good Luck.

Is there anything digital out there which could replace the wire clasps, springs and other forms?

I want someone under 25 years old with at least 30 years experience wire bending that will change their technique and work for 1 dollar over minimum wage. Is what I heard...

My guess clear aligner therapy can handle 80+% of the bread and butter cases. 30% of the your teeth are jacked and .01% of the I am pretty these aren't a human's teeth.
