That bubble looks like something Pentron had in the process of Sculpture . I forget what gas was pumped into it.

This was discussed a few years ago on here. I cant remember if its pressure or vacuum, but it was used during Zr stain dipping to get better penetration.

Somewhere way back on DLN there was a discussion about the rather involved staining protocol that Glidewell had developed for BruxZir, I'm sure this was part of it. I believe it was Mark Jackson who was speaking of it, God rest his soul.

i don't believe in this air pressure coloring situation over good ol' baking.

but yes, God rest his soul @Mark Jackson - huge (literally and symbolically) icon in dental.

I remember Mark Jackson using this or some contraption like this to infuse his color into the BruxZir better. I believed it worked back in the day when you ground on a BruxZir crown and it would appear white where you ground. This helped in that, but then preshaded pucks came, better infusing coloring liquids, and now multi-shaded have put this device on to the lab museum shelf.

Just waiting for the day they pick me up and put me on that shelf!!! :(
