I received a case with a screw retained implant that had the porcelain chipped off of it. I was going to strip the porcelain off the abutment and build a zirconia crown to cement to this abutment. It was a straumann WN. When I placed the crown in strip it over night I came in this morning with completely green liquid and it completely disintegrated. I still had screw so I tested that and it started to disintegrate as well. It was not the liquid since I had another crown in there that didn’t? Is there a type of UCLA abutment material that isn’t metal?

Tibase... I’ve unknowingly cast to A&B dentals titanium instead on a UCLA..
Doesn’t end well with “Super Stripper” (we’ve nick-named it ⭐️ STAR ⭐️)
