I have some questions

Why do we need sintering bead when sintering zirconia?

What happen if I don't use it and place my restoration on the tray directly?

Thank you so much

the tray and the beads heat at two different temperature rates, the result is the zirconia not shrinking correctly. using a layer of beads, the bead are the absorber of the heat, and the zirconia shrinks properly.

I saw a set of genuine balls on a dog the other day.

You don't see that too often anymore, right?

The balls help reduce drag on the semi-soft and shrinking Zirconia at high temp.

The Zirconia moves alot! Also, you will get White spots and poor fitting work if you don't use them.

Some balls will absorb the staining liquid a little. It's good to not lay anteriors on the side. Stick them in verticle.

I like .4-.6mm ball. The company above has great pricing.

The zirconia beads provide multi-point support of minimum contact, which helps prevent the bridge from warping while it sinters. If you never fired bridges, and only fired singles, you could get away with no beads.
Zircar Zirconia stocks beads, hollow balls and trays of different sizes.

I have never used Beads, I have one year of milling experience with Zi and way over a 1000 units done in that time. While the vast majority of them are singles I have yet to have a bridge warp. 3 unit bridges I do not use any drops, anything 4 to 6 units I use drops. anything higher than 6 units I stand on end.

The sintering oven came with a ceramic plate that is highly smooth and polished
