That looks like a Nobel Active 4.3mm transfer pin to me

That's what I thought megagen or active it's neither too short for megagen and not conical or tapered to be nobel active goes straight down

You're right, definitely not Nobel's. Whatever it is, the interface was intentionally designed for utilitarianism and long service. I'd remember that one if I'd seen it.

Could be a Sybron Pitt-Easy given the long hex part...Hmmmm2 Ask for an x-ray to see how those impression copings seat in the implants...might give us a clue...

Sadly gonna have to say no to that guess. The cylender directly below the hex (in pic orientaion) must be internal to the implant body based on the design. Pitt-Easy is hex in the hole only.

Why not just ask the doc ? He has & used the impression transfers so he should know.

Yeah, I do agree with you, I just assumed that option has been exhausted and they don't know either before someone digs here.

usually when we need to identify implants its by photos of a broken one by a patient who had it done in a different country.

so this is a bit wierd.
