      Teeth are vulnerable to discoloration, which can happen due to staining from foods and drinks such as coffee or red wine. Black teeth can also be a sign of underlying decay or cavities, however. A dentist can provide tips on prevention and suggest the best method of treatment, which typically depends on the cause.
