I'm embarassed to admit i'm not up on insurance, codes, etc.

I would like to convert my docs to mostly porcelain fused to zirconia and emax.

My non precious docs probably won't switch because they're crowns are less expensive.

I'd like my noble and high noble docs to switch by having my all ceramics similar to the pfm price they're currently paying.

My question is: with insurance, will their profitablity be the same switching them from pfm to all ceramic if i keep their prices the same or will they still make more by using metal due to insurance reasons.

Please excuse my ignorance.

Call and talk to your docs and see if they will give you a list of what the different insurance's they take will pay for different types of crowns.

I showed a few accounts that they could use high noble and put more money in their pocket and give the patient a much better crown than NP.

If you approach this as how can I work with you to make you more profitable and give your patients a restoration made from better materials you will be the asset most dentists are looking for in a lab.
