Is there a rule or principle in regards to repairing/ adding porcelain to an open contact on zirconia crowns that has been in the mouth for certain time? ( implant in this case)

How long is too long before the moisture has contaminated the zirconia crown and it is not feasible??

Recently attended a lecture by Dr. Robert Vogal and he brought an issue I was unaware of.The proximal conacts on the implant crown we deliver to Dr.'s need to be highly polished and deep occlusal -gingivally. The reason being is the implant doesn't move but neighboring adjacent teeth do and if we have Any coarseness at all in our implant crown there, it will eventually file down the approximate tooth. Been there, didn't know what could be the cause...those dam periodontal ligaments strike again after we thought we'd
eliminated them so much with implants...need to keep in mind still, always, for sure :deadhorse:
