If I'm on the same page, I've been using the channel plugs that Keystone Dental supplies with their UCLA's. Tried to buy them separate, but no dice. They work great for waxing, acrylic, composite even porcelain build-up. With die lube, porc. Sep. or without, nothing sticks. But I've got to try the tape especially in tight situations, it would save me from sacrificing the plugs. Great idea, thx. They have been doing that for years here. It works great. I also use it to fill screw channels on abutments that I am bonding together and push it out from the apical side prior to curing the bonding agent.
