Another free and very useful software is called windirstat. It ia a software that scans all drives and folders within those drives. It tells you which folder are the largest and smallest in size. Also tells you file types. So you can delete movies (porn) naughty naughty to mp3, jpeg and other files. I like it cause some time you have no idea where these files are and you manually trying to find it will take foreverm

I am using windows 7. That's as far as I understand what youre saying.

I clicked start, computer, and I see hard disk drives: OS (C) and HP Recovery.

I right clicked on the OS (C) and got a window opened up. Went to the bottom and clicked 'properties'. I clicked 'disk clean up'. I think that just got rid of temp files (?).

Am I on the right track or could you tell a dope what to do properly?
Task manager...

tabs :

Applications, Processes, Services, performance, Networking and Users.

Zero_Zero said to look for whats bogging it down. How do you tell?

That was what I was going to suggest, do a Disk Clean up.

Knowing what to look for that may be slowing it down, look at Processes in Task Manager. If you click on the top CPU or Memory
tabs it will list in ascending or descending order what is using the most CPU, but I'd think it to be the Memory side.
You can get an idea right off the bat, if you see 75-80+ memory being used of what the culprit may be. Windows 7 Task Manager
may look different than below, but it's the same idea.

Also, run a update and do a System scan with Windows Defender.

Sometimes a PC re-start or 2, can resolve minor issues.

Thanks everyone. Seriously. The problem is fixed...

On my CAM, across the top it says: File Edit View Settings Extras Help.

I clicked the Extra. Drop down menu has the option: Clean up part administration collection.

Back to doing things quickly. Party

My conscience is bothering me.

I didn't do it. Jensen tech support called me this morning and did it....but I watched, so I can do it in the future.

Once again...Jensen. :)

Not to embarrass you, but I've said before on this forum that it is one of the things I admire about you,
you do have a conscience.
