Straumann Temporary Abutment Library 3Shape

Hi all,

Does anyone know if Straumann offer a temporary abutment library for 3shape?

I'm currently awaiting an answer from them but case is urgent.

If they don't, any work arounds? I was thinking just design it to whatever, grind it out and fit to the temp abutment but would prefer something more elegant.

You could just scan the abutment and use manual positioning. My work around.

The temp abutment is super long, it’s meant to be cut down to size and scanned in, they don’t have a library

No they dont, what are you working off of? IO scan? Physical model?

Thanks all, I forgot about the scan abutment workflow, used to do that a lot!

You could measure yourself and create your own library with the 3Shape tools.
Then you can work with the scan body as usual.
