On my cellphone so couldn’t dig through archives. Are there any tweezers/hemp stat/pliers for stain and glaze that aren’t rediculously expensive but yet still solid for years to come?

Just narrow the tips on some hemost and let the rubber band do the job holding the pressure.

My favorite as an old brush handle with the brush removed and a small blob of Henry Schein ulility wax -round strips stuck on the end.
It has enough tack to easily hold a bridge and will let go with a slight pull. When I do veneers, I have several small cones of the wax stuck at 90 degrees along the handle so I can stain all the veneers at once side by side.

Checks in the mail?

Use ortho rope wax on a stick, works better than hemostats, much much cheaper, and wont break your crowns.
