Is there any way to design models in 3shape modelbuilder using Sirona files without using cad points. We can design abutment, crowns, bridges - no problem. I know we can buy 3shape cad points and design the models ourselves and print them, but they are very expensive - about 20-25 euro for every case. Can I send the stl files to another lab legally and have them remove the restrictions in stl file for a fee.
It is annoying to have to send the models to a printing service and pay 55 euro for models to be printed, when we have our own sprintray printers.

Why are sirona files looked in 3shape modelbuilder?

Thank you for your help!!

Best regards.

Christian

If you have the stl files. Can you not just Create New Order, Import stl files and setup for model builder ???

Edit: so if you can’t do it on ModelBuilder, try Medit it is free and i think i like it better than MB.

Also check out Meshmixer so that you can also build your own model build base and stuff. There are lots of videos on youtube

A seperate License for 3rd Paarty Scans is needed for 3Shape Model Builder.

Contact reseller or 3shape.

I will try meshmixer and medit.

Thank
Let me know if it works for you. Try medit first yoy will like it better. Meshmixer is a little bit complicated.
