I need to replace a heating element on a vita zyrcomat t 110 volt oven and was quoted $630 a piece.
Does anybody have a more cost effective (cheaper) solution?

Take a pic, and measurements of the element.

Small diameter (Usually 3mm-5mm),Larger Diameter (usually 6mm-12mm) , Length of each section, Distance between center-line to Center-line of Large diameter electrodes at the top. (Usually 25-35mm for U-shaped elements)

Ok let's try that again
Large diameter(9mm) is 142mm long
Tapered section is 13 mm long
Small diameter(4mm) is 70mm long
For a total length of 235 mm

Should have done this before the scotch!

Thanks

Pete

be careful with cheap replacements. sacrificing cost for quality ultimately cost us dozens of furnace runs due to lack of retention of the Si layer and yellowing of our restorations.

I believe I have some elements for you in my office.

You bought a furnace from me? ayane?

Dozens of furnace runs? Seriously!! I highly doubt that.

That is over 24 cycles!! Come on....I know this could not be true.

If there is exposed MoSi2, then do not put Zirconia into the furnace.

You don't have to make Green/Yellowing Zr if you follow the rules of the materials we use.

If you were my customer, then I would have offered you replacement Zr or something.

Once the elements stabilize, then no more risk of flaking off. During the first few weeks/months of use, the Silica is very think and often pops off if elements get too cold.

This ceases to happen after elements turn grey/blue. Even happens to German elements.

I have not bought a furnace from you primus.

Your furnaces can not meet my volume, temperature control, and traceability requirements.

Just wanted to give a word a warning when deviating from manufacturer recommendations.

I might have some good condition used once to join with good ones in furnace.
