Does anyone know of a place where we can purchase shelving units/bookcases made specifically for standard lab pans, in the sense that shelf depth and spacing is tailor-made for lab pans?

Also interested in a mobile version as well (some kind of cart or racking).

If it doesn't exist, we will have them custom-made, but I would love a pre-built solution.

Most bookcases or shelving units waste too much space for our use.
We use these (relatively standard) lab pans: https://dental.keystoneindustries.com/product/lab-work-pans/

I know there are lab pans made to be hung from rails, but we're not interested in this system at the moment.

Thanks for any advice!

In our lab we take a simple closet rack flip it upside down so that the over-hanged portion is facing upwards towards the ceiling. We then allow the rack to drop at a slight negative angle and secure. This allows the back portions of the pan to be slightly raised (to quickly glances from the bench) but it is also secured due to the inverted shelve lip. Quick simple and effective. FYI make sure the angle is not too negative as articulator's will simply tip forward.

In terms of mobile we use a three tier mailer cart. We have three one in the model room, one in the receiving area to hold the cases to book-in (not to waste desk space) and one in the main work area. If you can find a resutrant depot store they usually have the rubbermaid brands as well as metal types.

Nevin sells shelving specifically made for lab pans. Sold through Nowak. Not cheap.

Yup, that's what we have. Works just fine.
