Good morning all,

Would Ivoclar's mills be compatible with exocad. and how do dimensions change when S1 1600 is open vs. closed. particularly height and depth.
I was sure I was getting a certain milling machine but now I an uncomfortable buying that brand so looking at Ivoclar for reliability and tech support.

It's funny, I am asking these questions on DLN because my rep did not return my call yet.

The Wieland for my Mini does, and I do believe the newer PM series of their CAM offers that option as well.

I am positive they are.

From 22 inches to 27 inches.

May vary, depending temperatures... Vroam
That's the height of the furnace, how far from the wall should the back of the furnace be so not to hit the wall when opening?

They have a rod 4.5" (white) for the back (if you want) to make sure, maintain that you have the clearance.

I had to edit, it doesn't screw in, but snaps onto a nub.

The angel of the photo and the tape measure is a bit deceiving, it is 22" as Contra posted.

I know to mill the new Ivotion Denture that Ivoclar offers it must be designed using 3Shape, exocad won't work per Ivoclar. That was a deal breaker for me on the PM mills. I'm not sure if it's because Exocad doesn't have the 'shell geometry' required for these type of dentures or it's something that Ivoclar only wants to involve 3Shape with.

Roland 52DCi, needed the robotic puck changer when I'm not at the lab. I really wanted to go with Axsys but they are still working on their puck changer at the moment is what I was being told.
