I am working with a roland DWX-52DCi and was thinking about getting the DWX-53DC. Does anyone have it and is it worth getting the new model? or should we just get another 52DCi? We only mill Zirconia and PMMA on it.
Hello,
@McCord. My name is Jane Qi, the customer service specialist for DGSHAPE Global.
There are 6-disc changer units in DWX-53DC same as DWX-52DCi. However, the disc adapter ZMA-53D is dedicated for DWX-53DC that enable 100 types of disc ID patterns can be registered in DWX-53DC. With the new disc changing mechanism, it enables faster changing time (half) than 52DCi.
DWX-53DC also include a special open edge adapter as a standard, with ±35 degrees B-axis allows for milling of almost all undercuts of anterior full-arch or denture. Designed to wow even PMMA power users, the DWX-53DC is built to handle multiple digital partial and denture workflows. Engineered with improved rigidity and spindle strength, it easily mills dual and mono shaded PMMA discs. The DWX-53DC also boasts faster milling times with its 4mm tool capability.
