Hello all!

If you're reading this, thanks for taking the time. We've got an S1 that's been running too hot for a while now, calibration rings want a setting of around -57 which is wild!

Spoke with Ivoclar a while back and they suggested it was due to a fault on either the thermocouple or the heating elements themselves. No cracks on the elements but they haven't been changed in ages so we ordered a new thermocouple and replaced that and the elements just in case to cover all of our bases.

We fired it up and were excited to see it didn't immediately burst into flames, so the replacement job was successful however the issue was unchanged. Rings still coming out much smaller than the calibration chart dictates.

I'm currently running a cleaning cycle to give calibration one more shot, but curious if anyone else has run into a similar issue and what the outcome was? Per Ivoclar, if the cleaning cycle doesn't resolve the problem the only solution is to send it in for repair which is very unfortunate.

Thanks for reading and if you don't have an answer, I hope you at least have a great day.
