Ran across a fairly decent article on the subect and to keep from getting in trouble (again) with them for posting the whole thing here, I'll post a link. It is from a contract gig view, but it still works for our needs.

There are a few calculators offered, including a nice one with MonteCarlo analysis built on by a poster/commentor.

Interesting. My accountant has me just list it as supplies or outsource as appropriate. Might should check into that deeper.

I provide my CPA with what she wants. Come to think of it, the supply list would cover the COGS. It must be a way of double entry checking...she said I was pretty accurate. Knowing where the money goes is a good thing. When I contemplate the fact that we are still in business, it boggles the mind. I think we blow our accountants' mind too.
