Hi all
Just wondering for those that are pressing over metal, has anyone tried pressing over a screw retained abutment.
I did a POM over a cement retained without any dramas but with screw retained im wondering about the access hole up through the guts.
Once invested, the hole will obviously be filled with investment but will the "stick" of investment be strong enough to hold up under the pressure of pressing?
Its a Replace select 4.3mm and im using a gold adapt abutment.
Im guessing it will be fine as i have pressed over the Imtec mini implants before which are way smaller, but that was a bit hit and miss.
The reason im thinking of pressing is with the amount of space we have i like the idea of using the
Line wax occlusal patterns and then just press and stain.
