Is anyone experienced with both Pekkton/Anaxgum and Trilor/Crystal Ultra for Hybrid dentures?
Any comparisons for machineability, staining and maintenance?
Pros and Cons?
Any comments on either would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Darwin

can speak only to Peek and the use of Trinia/Trilor

both are fairly straightforward to machine, very stable materials that don't heat up and wrap around your tools like hot plastics.

both only need good thin edge carbide tools, too high of a rake angle will cause tools to glance or not cut properly. trinia/trilor need to be routed, so each tool must pass with >24k rpm to get clean edges. wet or dry, finish is the same when routed.

Just to add to this, the Hybrids shouldn't be exposed to the tissue but the PEKK can be. The hybrids have a fiber element and the PEKK is a homogenous polymer.
