That is how I do it also. I’ll seat my waxups on the solid models and rescan as a preop. I totally am not always sure I’ll get what I want with 3shape because it’s just different on a screen. I should get a virtual reality helmet !! Bahaha ! I bet someone on here is crazy enough to have tried it.

You might be able to scan it as a wax-up that way its a copy and not have to morph to pre-op. If its a single then you can just scan the die and wax-up.
