Hello everybody!
I have a problem with a milling machine I bought second hand (Straumann M-series which is a rebadged AG Ceramill motion 2).
I installed it in my lab and have a new install of the soft that control the milling machine on a new computer.
I tried to drill an emax onlay and the result is a shrinked piece on the model. (No contact point, no occlusion).
I suppose I have to calibrate my milling machine but I don’t find any information to know how to do it?
Thanks in advance for your help!
David

Motion 2 user here, IDK if theres a difference with the straumann M, but i have to contact our rep for calibration and they have a hidden log-in in the Ceramill Motion software to unlock the machine parameters(Double clicking the logo at the top right) that is after you mill the 2 far test blanks from your Ceramill Test puck. You cant create a login for the software and the its kind of a pain in the ass to schedule. I had the same issue after nesting an emax inlay without selecting cerec adapter and it crashed into the metal adapter and gave an overcurrent error. Sorry if this doesnt help at all but its very hard to find a way to do it yourself on the ceramill brand, Hopefully you dont have the same issue with straumann..
