Hi all
Is it still the requirement to not use non precocious alloy on an gold or titanium implant? Had a client ask for this and I said no I would only use noble alloy . Any thoughts?
Thanks
David

Goes against the IFU of most if not all UCLA abutments. Can cause galvanic reaction..

most if not all cylinders have alloy requirements in the data sheets that come with them. Show this to your client. If he still insists just have him put it in writing that is what he wants despite your advice .

If they want to save cash just get procera etc to mill a cocr frame instead all 1 bit the cocr and the implant titanium are close enough on the galvanic scale to not pose a problem.
