I got a question about the visiclear clasps in regard on if you can put them in hot water and tighten them a bit if you see in some rare cases it doesent hug the tooth good and it looks a bit lose ...
My doc did that and when he pushed a bit it broke like tikk ( his words hmm )
To be fair a clasp did that tik with me ib the lab too a month ago while i was polisihng it and presses a bit on it to polish the area where it blends with my hard surface material of the denture ..
I was surprised when my doc told me about his hot water technique so i am wondering if you can do that with visiclear from myerson or any other elastic company like valplast ( he told me ge did that technique many times with valpast and never broke )
Or what i am suspecting more is that it has to do with something on my end from which the clasp broke like that because 1 month ago same thing happened without Appling any hot water ..
I would appreciate any help with this issue since i have many clasps to make in the near future
