You're exactly right friend, they were from the Twin Cities, found it on Wikipedia.

Now this band I do remember, as one comment said, they were it before Prince became big.

From Wikipedia:

LCBB The band has played with some notable musicians, such as Muddy Waters, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, the Kinks, the Yardbirds, Kansas, Yes and the Blues Brothers. In 1981, they opened for the Rolling Stones on a leg of their North American tour.[1]

Pat Hayes played guest harmonica on a track on Percy Strother's second album, The Highway Is My Home (1995).[2][failed verification] It was a reworking of Little Walter's tune, "One Of These Mornings."[3]

Leon Bridges is pretty awesome, feel like for a contemporary artist he nailed the feel of older soul and motown music.

EDIT: won't let me embed for some reason, anyway, Coming Home was the song I tried to link.

Even though this is from MSN's tabloid webpage, I thought it was interesting to scroll through.
I agree with a couple of posts of what about, A Night At The Opera, and Days Of The Future Passed that weren't included.

My boss has a Gene Simmon's self improvement CD on his ipod that is unintentionally hilarious. Whenever it comes up in shuffle I crack up, he'll say some good advice and then something horrible or pretentious right after it but he's dead serious.
