Was planning on seeing them in Orlando for a July something show. He wasn't going to be there, but the whole thing tanked after the breakout of corona hoax (?)
Like, that you were planning on going, rats, for an opportunity lost. That would've been a one of a kind concert for sure. It was probably going to be in a smaller, more intimate type venue?

That is nice, that's where you see and experience a performance, and not a mass crowd being blown away in a stadium by it being overly loud.

Granted it was only Donavan, but he played in a bar about 20 years ago in St Paul. It was one of those old wood 2 story bars with a 360 degree balcony and lower level. The stage was in the middle. He'd talk and reminisce a bit and then play some songs. It was one of those times that sticks with you.

In Houston, where the symphony used to play with conventional stage and seating, but obviously was built for sound, used to bring in some of the slightly older, more conservative talent (it was around 1985 - 1992). I saw Ray Charles, Joan Baez and Chet Atkins, who I admired for his clean guitar skills and sound. He said he was recovering from the flu and might not be at his best, but he didn't miss a note. It was a tour for this album, I believe.

Now you're just showing off..lol

I knew I'd never be able to keep up with you so I
quit after Ringo :) That video does have a lot of good nostalgic pictures of Ringo and the Beatles.

The original version of "Autobahn" filled the entire side of the album. It's about 22 minutes long so fire up your VW and go for a drive...

"I think, I think I am, therefore I am, I think.
[Establishment:] Of course you are my bright little star,
I've miles
And miles
Of files
Pretty files of your forefather's fruit
And now to suit our
Great computer,
You're magnetic ink.
I'm more than that, I know I am, at least, I think I must be.
[Inner Man:] There you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles
And piles
Of trials
With smiles.
It riles them to believe
That you perceive
The web they weave
And keep on thinking free."

One of my all time favorite bands! We've seen them twice, they always put on a fabulous show.
