Soooooooo, who has gone (mostly) model free?

what system are you using and do you like it?

are you milling or outsourcing after designing?

and most importantly HOW MUCH TIME HAS IT SAVED YOU?

We do, singles to 3 unit bridges...I am not confident making anything larger Dontknow Mix of IO scans and triple tray scans (given that the triple tray is good, otherwise we'll make a model). Started doing it by impression scanning and fitting it the model...after a few cases we were able to dial in the settings and get over the uncertainty of finishing a crown w/o models (that's the harder part, lol).

I have been model less for all single crowns from IO scans for at least two years. I did the same as zero in the beginning to dial in my settings. Longest span model less is four unit bridge with two pontics.
Working on an implant case now, 4 units cement retained from IO scan of scan markers.

To heck with making the crown too,

why not send them an empty box with a bill inside? Deal

Think of doing almost zero models no pinning, sawing, waiting for setting, etc. Time to do other stuff like goofing around here.
I also don't saw models for any large cases I do. I just trim the solid and scan it.

Just did a 3-unit implant temp on 3 variobases. 3Shape/Wieland. Received the scan at 2:30pm. Delivered at 5pm. Slipped in with no adjustment. Pretty cool...
