Is there anyone out there milling Sintron. We just got our furnace and material in today, but couldnt remember what type of tools to use for milling. Do you use a regular carbide tool or can you use diamonds like you would use with Zirconia. Thanks for the help

havent milled it yet but knowing the characteristics of the material i would say best bet is a diamond for longevity but that will affect the finish. carbide would be good for finish but bad for longevity.

i vote for TiN coated carbide.

We use regular carbide tool, good finish and not so bad longevity, it's very very soft. These days testing new EVO sintron. We use Imes Icore 450i 1kw spindle and HyperDENT 8.02
