Hello, I was trying to do a post & core case today. Is there any way to merge two STL files into one?

For example, if STL file (A) contains area 1,2, and the second STL file (B) contains area 2,3

I want all areas 1,2, and 3. Is there a way to do this?

Adding extra die only selects one or the other.
Adding extra jaw seems to work maybe 1 out of 30 tries. Mostly errors when selecting areas to add.

Turn the visibility off for everything but the objects you want to merge, right-click of the screen then select: save to STL...it should save the visible stuff into an STL file. Then you can import it after. This will result in a non manifold geometry STL, that might cause some issues with the CAM program if you are trying to mill it. If that happens, then you need to repair the STL in MeshLab, Meshmixer or a similar app... more info: here
