Hi Experts,
I own small business, we are located in central Europe. We specialize in 5axes machining (some work for medical sector but last time our customer outsource much less job than previous year).
I have Hermle C12 and Mikron 200.. and we have experience in machining titanium/CoCr (bone plates, femorals).
We spent some time for implentation implant bar. We are very happy with results. We could machining parts like this in $400-$500 price range with 2-3 days delivery time. I called some labs from my area but they weren't interested (I think they offer complete prosthesis and have machining inhouse). But I have feel that price and quality is very good (we checked geometry and positions of holes is fit perfectly). Where should I look for customers - small labs where machines can't machining titanium with good results? Big labs overload with work? Maybe price range is to high? What do you think? Maybe there is no space for subcontracting only titanium/CoCr components.

These prices have to be multiple by number of implants - so 6 implants bar (please see picture from link I posted) would cost over €1000.
We are in half of this price. I could offer free shipping with this level of margin...

You are correct about that, they have increased prices. I will put prices of another milling center.

So we still seems very competetive... except we are not typical dental lab. Thank you for show me market prices.

Any idea where are doors I could knock knock? I will continue calling small labs, maybe will have some luck.

You're too expensive! The trend is towards all implants included, whether there are 3 or 8.
Even in England, prices are lower and there's 24-hour service.
I think you should look for a different market segment if you can't compete there.
In Germany, I pay €239 for a bar (titanium) including all implants and screws x2 ,
24-hour delivery if the order is received by 12:00. Express shipping is also included.
From Eastern Europe, it takes a day longer but is cheaper.
Milled on industrial machines such as DMG, GF-Micron, etc.

Hi, can you name a few companies, who are offering such prices? You can message me privately. They need to be able to mill blender for dental ibars. Thanks!

Excuese me but I can't believe that. May you send us a link to their websites and shows price offer? I think they could get new customers if there is a true.

Everyone should understand that I'm not making this public. We have absolute overcapacity in the dental sector for milling services, DLP 3D printing, and SLM (which is rapidly increasing). Market prices have developed accordingly.

Mr.
You don't making it public and you want to charge 30% for their work (offered me via PM), what doesn't make it more reliable in my opinion.
I will not argue about something you can't confirm. But I can agree that market seems full... and price+quality aren't only success factors.
Cheers.

If you're asking for tips and advice here, it seems your product isn't any good or you're a bad CEO.
If there's another excuse, I'd be interested to hear it.
You complain in the public forum that I sent you a private message offering to have your orders (bar including all implant connection geometries) manufactured for €240 + 30% surcharge for my work.
Isn't that embarrassing for you?
At the end of the month, I can only pay my bills to give my wife enough money to go shopping, because as a businessman, I earn money from my products and services.
What kind of CEO are you if you don't know this simple system? 🤣

its not a great feeling when you find out your not as competitive as you thought you were

Thanks for the information in PM, will check it out.

From my research and from examples posted in this topic (Prodenta 3D) the cheapest option is about €450 for bar which I posted on picture below. So at the moment I am stay with my €370-380 price and will check whats market say. I am not building business on these in next weeks, it's one of many fillers between another medical projects we run.
I am going to check some labs in Germany/UK - if there is a true that they are really offering half price - I am out and forward their contacts to labs I already cooperate. But can't feeling bad because somebody posted anonymous offer without any proof (can you?).
