How many labs are leasing Intra-Oral Scanners to their dentist clients?

What is the lease price and how do you handle servicing?

I own the scanner and provide the whole service from start to finish .
If you lease to a dentist they would have no obligation to send you the files
Why would they commit to paying $500 + per month and not have a choice where to send?
I'm booked solid for April and Half of May.

The fee is included with the restoration which the patient pays.

Take Shaws fee and double it.

I hear there is a lab in Toronto that is doing something similar.

You ever went to an office and because the prep was bleeding or so deep that you couldn't use your fancy scanner?...be honest?

Very important to have a dry field. Doc should have hemostatic agents for this type of situation. Somewhere I have x rays of two different patients
who had deep decay nearly to the crest of the bone, perfect margins. They didn't want to extract and they didn't want an implant. They were prepped to the bone level
at least 6mm sub gingival. Tissue was retracted with a few cords and an IOS was taken. If you can see the margins with your eyes then the IOS can capture the data.
If not, the advantage would be squirting impression material down there.

most of my scans are implants but in the event of a discpencey , I will make a pmma temp .
LOL, the only time I have left empty handed was just now. I was booked for 11am and when I got there the power went out from the ice storm.
