Ivoclar EP5000 thermocouple replace

Hi all, is it possible to replace the thermocouple on my EP5000 myself?
Any advice will be welcomed.
Error code 103 on cold start-up and error 29 (I’m assuming this is a bust thermocouple

Is there a service manual floating around?

Best idea if you have faulty TC to change muffle and all seal together.

Hi, i have the same error codes.Did you find a solution? Bad thermocouple?

Does the orange connector under the back plate wiggle a little? The wire can be replaced and may resolve the issue.

I’ve always wondered if the ep5000 had a crap muffle - mine went out after a year and a half and very few hours. They wouldn’t cover any of it of course and I haven’t bought an Ivoclar product since.

I'm shocked, actually. Mine have been largely bullet proof. I think they are very expensive, but beyond that i haven't had significant trouble other than the orange wire I mentioned and the lousy "crack detection" defect that wastes good rings and misses the majority of cracked rings. Neither happened often, but it's a feature they should have allowed the user to turn off.
