Geeze. And I was feeling good because I have an 810 coming.. You make me feel bad.... But still excited... My first scanner. Training on the 19th and I don't know squat. Congrats.

Finally got the beast unleashed not a bad setup. Good workstation from HP 16gb Ram, intel p4600 HD Graphics card, 1TB HDD, i7 CPU seems to be a tough little build. A lot more accessories then the D700 and a fancier case to store everything in. Can't wait to get it up and running hopefully by tomorrow.



Not to shabby for $32.5k Now lets see some real life scans with texture, implants soft tissue and so on. Full arch cases with out having to supposedly scan a single die, if the spacing between dies is enough.

I'm down to boggy with this thing.

Not only is your scanner in the hands of someone who knows how to use it, it's also in a very nice lab environment, Sevan A nice lab with great lighting and lots of light coming in the windows..now like others, I'm really jealous

Just curious...are there opportunities out there, either through your various resellers or 3shape, to trade in and older version scanner/computer for credit towards one of the new models?

Good question. I asked that same question to my Ivoclar rep. as they are having some excellent promotions of 30% off the D710, D810 & D900 (extended lab day west promotion) but they weren't looking for a trade in, at least for my D500. Are they coming out with newer models, and thus the heavy discount?

I suppose if I called CMC who holds my license, Tonya would try to work something out as far as a trade in for a trade up.

Yes there are. Check with your re-seller to see how much you'll get for your current scanner.
