Just had a scan show up from a new Dr. Nothing prepped. He wants 'BioTemps' for a future large lower anterior bridge. Ive never done temps from a scan. Ive actually only done temps from a model, that I prep and scan. I know thats not normal for you guys.

So, what do the pros do?

EDIT:
Dr just called, said do NOT make temps. Whew.
He just wanted me to see the teeth for occlusal reference. Its an odd bite.

So...in order for me to have the scan so I can import it as a pre-op, Im thinking I neeed to select 'no models' on the Rx, but still click send. (?)

Use the Egg Shell module
Thank, but just to clarify...
Im not going to make a temp after all. He just sent a pre-op scan rather than an impression so I could replicate the strange bite. I went ahead and ordered the iTero models just in case I screw something up on importing the scan as a pre-op when I get the PVS models done.

Yea click on the Rx button, uncheck models on the right, the, check local export. A few drop down options will pop up and you can choose whichever one you want. Most cases I choose "Other/implant open model"

I always choose "exo 2017 w/ color or later" (something along that line)... it works fine for everything

That option works great too. The only thing I dont like about it is your stuck with where itero ditched the die and sometimes they miss the margin. If you do "other open model" there is no ditch

This is one of those cases where they missed the margin

With the full member tier you can do that within the itero software

Tier 3 is $3995 one time fee unless something changed in the last few months.

Whatever you have already paid for your current tier level is applied. Not models and stl fees, just the 'i'm cool enough to use iterrible' fee. Again, unles something changed.

They do have promotions sometimes if you have impeccable timing.
