Hello everyone, I have a problem when printing implant models on a Formlabs Form3b printer.

The hole for the analog prints correctly when positioned at 0 degrees (parallel to the plane), but the hole for the lateral fixation screw prints with incorrect dimensions; it is not perfectly round as it should be. I should mention that the offset has already been calibrated using the IPD calibration pattern, and we are using the IPD libraries.

(I tried printing at 90 degrees, and the analog hole came out wrong, but the hole for the lateral fixation screw printed correctly. I also tried printing at 35 degrees, and the screw hole improved, although it is still slightly incorrect, but now the analog hole is somewhat deformed...).

This 3D printing thing is driving me crazy; there's always a new problem to solve. I hope you can help me with this. Thanks!

Disregard that.
Are you using the Form wash and cure for post processing?

I will try to recalibrate the printer, but it had already been calibrated two months ago.

No hagas caso a eso.
¿Estás utilizando el lavado y curado de formularios para el posprocesamiento?
Yes, I have done several tests, I have tried adjusting the analog with the washed and cured model and also washed and uncured, the same error persists, the hole does not have the perfect roundness that it should have.

This is a calibration master printed with the Form3B printer. As you can see, the hole on the side is deformed; it's not perfectly round as it should be.

This is another well-made calibration master printed with a different printer (not Formlabs). I'm showing it so you can see the difference in print quality.

The truth is I'm racking my brains over this. In the end, I'll end up printing with the other printer, which is supposedly of worse quality, but the results speak for themselves.

I've already recalibrated the entire printer and nothing. I'll keep talking to Formlabs technical support to see if they can fix it for me...

How old is the 3b? And have you had success with this calibration print in the past?
