Looking for advice on reasonable markup on implant components such as UCLA (castable cylinders for PFM),implant analogs, temporary cylinders, etc.

You can PM me your answer if you don't want to share on public forum.

At a minimum, double the cost.

UCLA Straumann costs like 265. Double the cost would make it way too high

I usually do 20% to 25% on parts
I do double and have never had a complaint.
Ive been doing this a long time. It used to be the lab bill was approx 25% of the Drs bill to the patient.
What do you think the Dr is being paid?

If the doc wants a UCLA they are told that the cost to the lab is more than a stock abutment and there are add-ons to the process. Much like a Biomet Encode abutment, they get expensive quickly.

I do it a little different....I figure out how much profit I need to make based on my average time it takes for the "process" then add the cost of the components.( 3rd party or OEM, their choice...)
Time + materials. My profit is always remains the same. I'm not in business to lose money
