finally got the DOF. a few observations

a much superior design with cameras moving instead of the model. no need to worry about model falling off, gluing model shut, and able to scan full articulators. software is very well streamlined, and scanning is faster and a much more pleasant experience. overall, just so much more convenient and simpler. Reminds me of when I went from sirona to medit. just worlds better.

Oh, and the lamp turns off when it's not in use. Seems like common sense. I always wondered, why the hell does the medit's lamp stay on all the time? my medit started failing in less than two years. it's either a massive fail in design or it's been designed to fail early. pretty pathetic either way. we've been in limbo since B&D refuses to service it, less than two years after purchase. going to have to send to Korea to replace lamp, and hope it lasts more than 2 years this time.

Who manufactures the case pans & wall track? I like it!

Don't care too much for the scanner door cover though. Wish it were attached somehow- maybe hinged, or better yet a slider.
