hi

I’d like to laser etch our aligners so that the patient can tell which aligner is which if they mix the bags up etc

Does anyone know a low cost way of laser etching a number on to the finished aligner to keep track of them?

Thanks,
Wilbur

There is no "low cost method" that I know of. There are alternate methods though.
Try embossing.

use nail polish to inscribe the order ? didn't say it was a great idea, just an idea.

You could give a try with cheapo laser engraver like this, not sure how would work on the aligner material tho. Might need some experimentation with the laser intensity and some sort of jig to keep the aligner in position.

if you were a silly person you could buy a Cubiio

but it would take more noodling about consistency than it would be worth in investment.
